About the Journal

The Journal of Community Science and Applied Nutrition provides a dynamic platform for research aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It emphasizes innovative and applied research as well as case studies in food science, community nutrition, textile sciences, resource management, consumer sciences, and family studies. The journal welcomes applied and empirical research, case studies, clinical studies, meta-analyses, and narrative reviews.

Areas of interest include community nutrition, clinical and observational studies in nutrition and psychological health, food science and technology, consumer behaviour, textile science, ergonomics, family and community studies, dairy science, and agricultural science.

Plagiarism Policy

JCSAN enforces a strict plagiarism policy. All submissions are screened using advanced detection software. Manuscripts with more than 20% similarity (excluding references) are returned for revision. The journal follows COPE guidelines to ensure integrity, originality, and ethical publishing standards.

Article Processing Charges (APC): The journal charges an article processing fee of INR 5000. However, all articles submitted before 1st March will receive a full waiver on the processing fee.
