Author Guidelines

Authors are invited to submit their manuscripts to Annals of Comprehensive Oncology and Biomedical Sciences (ACOBS). All submissions undergo an initial editorial evaluation to determine whether they are within the journal's scope and meet the required standards of scientific quality, originality, and ethical integrity. Manuscripts deemed suitable will be sent for independent peer review before a final editorial decision regarding acceptance or rejection is made.

Before submitting a manuscript, authors are responsible for obtaining permission to reproduce or publish any copyrighted material included in the submission, including photographs, figures, tables, datasets, or other third-party content. All individuals listed as authors must have made a substantial contribution to the work, approved the final manuscript, and agreed to its submission. Where applicable, research involving human participants, animals, human tissues, or identifiable data must have received approval from an appropriate institutional ethics committee and must comply with the ethical and legal requirements of the country in which the study was conducted.

The Editorial Office reserves the right to desk reject manuscripts that do not meet the journal's minimum standards of quality, scientific rigor, ethical compliance, reporting, or relevance to the journal's aims and scope. Authors should ensure that the study design is robust, the methodology is clearly described, the results are accurately presented, and the conclusions are supported by the data. The manuscript should be written in clear, concise English, with an informative title and a structured abstract capable of standing independently. Careful preparation of the manuscript significantly improves the efficiency of the editorial and peer-review process.

Before submitting a manuscript, authors are strongly encouraged to carefully read the Author Guidelines, available at https://journals.vertexpub.com/index.php/ACOBS/authorinstructions. The Author Guidelines provide comprehensive information on article types, manuscript preparation, formatting requirements, reporting guidelines (including CONSORT, PRISMA, STROBE, CARE, and other applicable standards), ethical responsibilities, declarations, reference style, preparation of tables and figures, supplementary materials, and the online submission process. Adherence to these guidelines facilitates a smooth editorial workflow and expedites peer review. Manuscripts that do not comply with the journal's submission requirements may be returned to the authors for technical revision before editorial assessment.
