The Annals of Medicine and Medical Ethics (AMME) is a peer-reviewed, open-access international journal dedicated to advancing knowledge in clinical medicine, biomedical sciences, healthcare practice, and medical ethics. Plagiarism Policy
AMME maintains a strict plagiarism policy to uphold the highest standards of research integrity and publication ethics. All submitted manuscripts are screened using reliable plagiarism detection software before peer review. Manuscripts with a similarity index exceeding 20% excluding references, quotations, and standard methodological descriptions may be returned for revision or rejected at the discretion of the Editorial Board. The journal adheres to the ethical guidelines and best practices recommended by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and expects authors to ensure that their work is original, properly cited, and free from plagiarism and other forms of academic misconduct.
